Zamster is a mobile application operated by Luc Van Remoortel, an individual based in Belgium. Zamster connects runners and cyclists with training partners in their area, and provides tools to train together safely.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Zamster. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when setting up your profile. Impersonating another person or creating a misleading profile is prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
When using Zamster, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, at our discretion, without prior notice.
Zamster facilitates connections between users for outdoor physical activity. By using the app, you acknowledge that:
Zamster is not responsible for any injury, loss, or harm arising from interactions with other users or from physical activity.
After a training session, users can submit ratings and optional comments about each other. These ratings contribute to each user's Trust Score. You agree to submit only honest and fair ratings. Ratings submitted in bad faith (e.g. to maliciously lower someone's score) may be removed and the submitting account suspended.
All ratings are anonymous until both participants have submitted.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Zamster (profile photos, bio text, comments). By submitting content, you grant Zamster a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the app for the purpose of operating the service. We will not use your content for advertising without your explicit consent.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not infringe third-party rights.
The Zamster name, logo, and app design are the property of Luc Van Remoortel. You may not use them without prior written permission.
We aim to keep Zamster available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the app for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Luc Van Remoortel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of Zamster, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, or financial loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is zero for free users).
You may stop using Zamster at any time and delete your account from the app. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, or if we decide to discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where possible.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via a notification in the app. Continued use of Zamster after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
